HEL Performance Brake Line KitsBritish Super Sport

British Supersport

The past three seasons has seen the Supersport title taken by three different manufacturers, with many of the talents in this class later rewarded for their achievements by progressing to the Superbike class.

The 2010 season is expected to be another open tussle for supremacy with former champion Glen Richards returning to the class in Padgetts Honda colours, whilst last year's runner-up Billy McConnell back with the CAME Yamaha squad alongside James Westmoreland. The all important Supersport class which provides bragging rights for manufacturers and teams will be further fuelled with entries from Gearlink Kawasaki (Ben Wilson and Lee Johnston), MAP Centurion Triumph (Dan Cooper and AJ Venter), TAG Triumph (Jason O'Halloran) and Ian Hutchinson (Padgetts Honda).

The 2010 British Supersport season will feature at every British Superbike Championship round and form part of the live British Eurosport TV broadcast.

The Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Cup is aimed at riders progressing from the National Superstock 600 class or those of limited Supersport class experience. The champion is decided over 9 rounds rather than 12 to allow riders to use their best 9 results or choose to budget for fewer rounds. The Supersport Cup forms part of the Supersport race allowing points and prize money to be scored in the main championship.

Entrants in the Supersport class must be 16 years of age or over and, in principle, have a minimum of two years experience at National level. Some of the teams we support in this years championship include:

British Superstock 600

The return of "Junior Superstock" in 2008 proved highly popular with teams and riders enjoying the benefits of tightly regulated, budget friendly no-holds barred racing. Full grids of aspiring competitors ensured that the championship has bolstered the careers of some of the country's newest talents. 2008 champion Lee Johnston is currently in his second Supersport season, having enjoyed some strong finishes in his rookie year and reigning champion Jamie Hamilton looks set to follow a similar route.

The 2010 entry list is again filling fast with many new names progressing from the ranks of top flight club racing as well as those that are returning for a second year including Jimmy Hill, Matt Bilton, Luke Stapleford and ACU Academy Cup winner Tim Hastings.
