NEW HEL STAINLESS STEEL BLEED NIPPLES

Exeter, Devon, UK - HEL Performance have produced a new stainless steel bleed nipple. The new product, machined from 303 stainless steel, will aid many motorcyclists by offering them a cost effective and permanent solution to the problems associated with mild steel OEM bleed nipples seizing in the brake caliper.
NEW HEL STAINLESS STEEL BLEED NIPPLES
Due to the harsh environment a bleed nipple is subjected to especially in the winter months within the United Kingdom the mild steel bleed nipples are susceptible to seizing within the caliper due to corrosion. This corrosion is rapidly advanced by the salt used on the roads in the winter and can mean that when removal of the OEM mild steel bleed nipple is attempted the seizure can catastrophic failure of the bleed nipple. This can result in part of the bleed nipple shearing off and leaving part embedded in the caliper with no easy means of removal.
NEW HEL STAINLESS STEEL BLEED NIPPLES
The new HEL Performance bleed nipple, due to it's manufacture from 303 stainless steel, offers exceptional resistance to corrosion and also allows higher torque to be used when removing the nipple without fear of shearing, fracture or the rounding of the hex.
They are currently available in M10 x 1.00, M8 x 1.25 and M7 x 1.00 which cover many models of motorcycle including Aprilia, BMW, Cagiva, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki, Piaggio, Suzuki and Yamaha.
